Exceptional Danish blue water cruiser, for serious ocean voyagers.

2004 Nordship DS 43 ‘Nina’

NZ $395,000 ono*

Nordship DS 43. 2004. Fully equipped, exceptional Danish blue water cruiser, for serious ocean voyagers. Rare find outside Europe and is much sought after by discerning ocean sailors.

This is a rare find in this hemisphere. A serious blue water cruiser with Danish pedigree, hand laid solid grp hull, full cruising inventory, upgrades and spares with everything you need to circumnavigate safely and with confidence. Lying in Northland, New Zealand, Nina has been owned by her current owners for ten years and sailed from Denmark to the South Pacific and New Zealand where she was cruised, then stored on the hard on alternate years from 2016 until 2019 when Covid forced her to be stored full time at the excellent Whangarei ship yard. Her previous and original owner sailed her only lightly in Denmark and each year she was winterized in a fully covered custom shed. No expense was spared on her to keep her in optimum condition.

This owner was very discerning to who would buy her and this is reflected in the care, upgrades and inventory she has benefited from with her new owners. They too feel the same way, so are looking for serious sailors who fully appreciate what she represents in an ocean going yacht of outstanding pedigree.

Her inventory and spares and upgrades are significant and denote a purpose built ocean cruising ship with safety, confidence and performance paramount in the design and build. Hand laid GRP hull, Danish built for the Baltic sea, a Deck Saloon with helm station that offers incredible light and vision, a large galley, three double cabins, two bathrooms, scoop stern, in boom furling, the list goes on – very few yacht brands can compare to the Nordship brand and reputation.

Two years ago a sister ship sold in Europe for 460 000 euros. Nina is priced to sell in NZ$* as the owners have reluctantly had to return to the UK.

For the serious blue water sailor seeking adventure with safety, comfort and performance this is a rare opportunity to secure a world cruiser, deck saloon at a very enviable price. New Zealand taxes are yet to be paid offering a unique opportunity for the discerning buyer.

Nina is much loved and well cared for ocean going yacht with everything you need for safe, dependable world cruising. Family commitments mean the current owners have decided to sell their beloved ‘Nina’ rather than sail or ship her home to the UK. It has been a very tough decision and presents a rare opportunity for serious adventurers to secure a highly respected and proven world cruiser.
